The United Nations was the second sanctioned body for World Peace. The first was the League of Nations, created by the Treaty of Versailles in 1919 which ended in 1946, after two World Wars proved it ineffective.
The UN was to continue along the same path with an apparent additional wishlist for social development. With the Cold War brewing between the USSR and USA, those notions remained on the back burner. In 1991, forty-five years later, after the Cold War ended, this growing conglomeration of entities, chose to ramp up on that wishlist, instead of downsizing with a focus on continual peaceful negotiations among warring countries or internal civil wars. Remember, the Middle East has ALWAYS BEEN a hotbed of hate. It still is not solved. Very telling is that the UN refuses to focus on finding a serene solution, such as making Holy Ground exactly that - no one owns it. Create a World Park for Peace. Agenda 21 Preparing for the 21st century, the UN went full steam on Social Issues. According to Britannica, the UN has "six principal organs: the General Assembly, the Security Council, the Economic and Social Council, the Trusteeship Council, the International Court of Justice, and the Secretariat." and six committees: "(1) Disarmament and International Security, (2) Economic and Financial, (3) Social, Humanitarian, and Cultural, (4) Special Political and Decolonization, (5) Administrative and Budgetary, and (6) Legal." with additional "subsidary " organs that "report to the General Assembly or ECOSOC or both". These "others are financed by the voluntary contributions of governments or private citizens" or the UN directly. There are in addition to these, six "Major specialized agencies and related organs of the UN" entailing: 1. International Labour Organisation (ILO) 2. Food and Agriculture Organization of UN (FAO) 3. UN Educational, Scientific & Cultural Organization (UNESCO), 4. World Health Organization (WHO) 5. World Bank 6. International Monetary Fund (IMF). Is Peace Keeping being done? #UN was "to promote international cooperation and to achieve peace & security." That was long ago, seemingly. Currently, according to Agenda 30, "Heads of State and Government and High Representatives, meeting at United Nations Headquarters in New York ... September 2015 ..., have decided ... on new global Sustainable Development Goals." And, "On behalf of the peoples we serve, ... commit ourselves to working tirelessly for the full implementation of this Agenda by 2030." Specific to the Migrant Crisis in the news, details of how and why it's happening can be found in what the UN calls the "New York Declaration". As a reminder, it occurred during the Agenda 21 meeting while the text has been recently agreed upon in July 2018. In this declaration on Refugees and Migrants are "concrete plans for how to build on these commitments:
When Did We the People Vote On This?! Under UN Chapter 1: Purposes and Principles, Article 2 section 7, it states "Nothing contained in the present Charter shall authorize the United Nations to intervene in matters which are essentially within the domestic jurisdiction..." and yet, if one takes the time to read the documents and links given herein, the opposite is happening! Thank you for your time in reading and sharing this. ~~ LJS Trinity
